Do you have to pay for company uniform?

An employee must not pay for a company uniform the CEO of the company is suppose to provide uniforms for each employee.

Its the normal responsibility of the owner of the company to provide the clothing and other needed accessories for their workers because the workers are their responsibilities.

Paying for a uniform does not make sense at all. There are many companies where people get odd jobs and I would never pay for uniforms at all. Uniforms are manufactured by the companies and they try to cover the cost by making employees pay for that.

Some companies give free uniforms but trust me ,that uniforms an employee thinks is giving for free is being by the employee indirect, either through there paid salaries or through the services rendered. What I am trying to say is that companies do not give anything for free,you get things from what you worked for.

Yes, some companies may also give free uniforms, but they might also charge money as well in case the uniform gets torn or get damaged. This is a kind of unfair policy.

Employees shouldn't pay for company's uniform, it should be given to the employees free. Personal protective equipments (PPEs) and other forms of uniforms should be made available free for the employees by the company.

Why will an employee have to pay for a company's uniform. Any company that makes employee pay for their company's uniform is extorting them and it's a very wrong policy. Because once the employee drops such job, the uniform remains the property of such company

It is not really a good one for an organisation to make its employees to pay for its uniform or the working tools and apparatus it would be making use of at his job post.it is not a good motivation.

Well I think Paying for company uniform depend on the company you are working on , the company I am working for provides the kits and everything free but in some other company , you have to pay for it or it will be deducted from your salary.

Yes I know , there are some official business that have their own dress code but in most cases it is not even the responsibility of the business to buy these clothes , it is you as a person who is interested to work in the organisation.

Imagine that type of responsibility shifting , imaging giving your workers peanuts as salary and forcing them to buy a uniform that will definitely affect you at the end of the month.
