Are data entry jobs worth the pay?

Data entry, is it a job you think is worth the pay? I am always out there looking for more work, and if I can find some jobs that require simple data entry, I think I could handle jobs like that. The thing I don't like about date entry work, is that it's very tedious. I've done some small data entry work, but it was on top of other work I was doing. Just doing data entry, I don't know if I could handle it. Is the pay worth working a tedious job?

I do not know what the pay rate is these days, but back in 2014, I used to receive $10 for every 200 entries. I used to provide data entry services for ecommerce sites and small businesses. That was a good pay back then. I did a lot of data entry jobs through upwork.
