Working in your own home - a distraction?

I do not perform well under distractions and I believe most people would not be productive when they are interfered during their worktime. It is better to find a place with little or no distractions for better productivity.

If you're anyone who's dwelling collectively along with your dad and mom or have a family then that may be a distraction. I am even going to favor to work at home if I am staying alone with the proper ordinary amenities.

A lot of people usually find it a distraction working from home depending on if they have children or they have some kind of no electricity or noisy neighbours and that is something to check.

Though I am not self employed, I work for an organization that allows me to take my work home especially on weekends, But I discovered that each time I take my work home, I end up not touching them until I resume work on Monday. So, I had to stop taking my work home, I concentrate on my job more in the office.

It is good to always work in a place devoid of distractions as combining work with play would definitely affect your productive. It would be wise to set out time and place for work.

If you are staying alone then working at home is one of the best things that you can do for yourself but I am not going to encourage you to do that if you are very noisy neighbourhood.

Working in my home has always been a distraction because my wife always disturb me with gist which makes it difficult for me to work to my satisfaction at home .

I wouldn't say that working from home can be really easy. Sometimes it's tempting to join the family group discussions and sometimes, you would want to take a quick nap as well.

Still, it made my work easier too. I don't have to travel 3 hours a day anymore and I can make use of that time to do house chores and I love that about work from home connectivity. I can help a lot at home now.

Also, I can take a quick break as well and run some errands at home. So, I don't mind working from home, from here on in

It is costly to rent a house or office to work online so, I just push myself and motivate as to do work because everything in life is with money if we distract by anything else that will be our lose and now a days lose is not a good thing.

Working from home is never a distraction although when at it, I wouldn't want to be on my bed though. I like sitting on a chair atleast while working online to avoid sleep and dizziness.

Yeah. To an extent, it'll be a distraction for me. I've tried and it didn't work out, I found myself surfing and accessing other sites while I also miss the ability to socialize with my colleagues which is a great boost to my work.

Sometimes it varies, however for me personally, I prefer to rent an office elsewhere to conduct my business.
When I have a goal, I always make an effort to accomplish it without becoming sidetracked.

Sometimes it really depends the place u live or where u find ur self to work if it is a cool place u could work all time without being distracted and u could work harder at a place where u could find more peace also

It is very good and advisable because I Personally, working from home works really well for me, all I do is have my device close by and I can work virtually sitting in any position around my apartment and the convenience of working from a family work space , I could listen to some good music to bring the mood to more aesthetic one so I can perform more works

One of the major drawbacks of working form home is distractions. When you are at home, your family will take you for granted and frequently distract you. However, you can easily avoid distractions by setting up a room as your home office and locking youirself while working

I know very well that there is always going to be distractions working at home and that is the reason why I made sure to have a room designated for my work whenever I want to do them. I don't stay in the general sitting room to do any of my job because I will always get distracted by one thing or another.

I currently work from home and the distractions are the worst. Due to not having the space to have my own office at the moment and not wanting my workspace to also be my bedroom, it can be difficult to not get distracted.

I am getting better at avoiding distractions though and my kids are more aware that when I am sitting at my PC I am working and that is getting better but you can not always avoid distractions.

Distractions are common when you are working online, sometimes it happens to me that maybe I am doing some work and I put music or some podcast in the background, in the end, I stop listening to it because it distracts me too much and sometimes I lose focus, it is important to know when you can afford to distract yourself a little, I think when you're working it's not the time.

I have distractions from a lot of places when I'm working online at home. They are inevitable because I can't avoid them. If there's any noise in the room where I'm working, it's never going to be easy to work with it. I make use of an ear blocker to keep out noise when I'm working from home.
