When Staff Become Disgruntled

Making staffs that are distgrunted happy is the best solution to this issue, increase their pay when needs be, call them and ask their opinion whenever you feel they looks like you don't value them, give them bonus to encourage them.
I don't think this is the solution to disgruntled staff, they should be put in their place. If they bothered about something they should come out and speak other than act disgruntled
 
To solve this kind of problem you can either go radical or go calm, you can decide to isolate the really strong figures and deal with them or you try to meet their demand
 
This is a very good post. Staff can become unhappy due to unfavorable work conditions and it will affect their productivity. It is the responsibility of the business owner to ensure that his staff are okay with work conditions.

Deal with them in what way? Won't that cause issues later on? The easiest way would be to just meet up with their demands unless the demand are just selfish and unreasonable though.

Well, I believe no staff should be bigger than the company. If he can't behave he should be cut off with immediate effect and not given time to pollute the minds of other staffs

You've said it all here. Of course a staff can't just wake up one morning and decide to be disgruntled, certainly there is (are) reason(s) behind such attitude. The best way is to do the needful, as an employer you should know how to encourage and motivate your staff, not only verbally but work it out.

I believe that when a worker is seriously overworked and underpaid is probably one of the main reason that is stuff is going to be disgruntled from working for the company because it is never satisfying at all.

If an employee is affected by personal issues in his private life, the Manager can advise him to take some days off the job in order to sort things out.
 
If you are positioned in the same job for a long time, you will lose interest. There is an element of monotony when you are doing the same thing for a long time. Employer should understand this.

I think for the aspect of having someone replace them for a specific period of time, I believe this is where most companies make use of contract staffs right?
