When Staff Become Disgruntled

Your staff must have to be disgruntled if you are doing something that doesn't suit them or they don't like at all. That's a normal reaction you can get from any working system
 
This is a challenge of most companies,I don't think any employee will be disgruntled if there is conveniences in the company,some employer over burden workers with much task and less wages,I feel employers should increase the salary of any worker who is disgruntled
 
When a staff is disgruntled you need to know the reasons why the staff feel in such a way which must be attend to because the staff in a business determines how successful your business will be.
 
Employers should specially find ways of dealing with that issue that is called lack of motivation to staff. Incentives could really help motivate your staff in a company
 
Staffs become disgruntled mostly when they are not satisfied with the pay. Then the condition of service may also not be favourable. All these should be picked and addressed by the management to avoid the disruption of the business activities. The quality of a good leader is to quickly identify dissatisfaction by the staffs.
 
I believe such occurred as a result of dissatisfaction of the workers either because of the following which you have earlier mention but the termination of appointment of such staff may not be the best option but amendments of such default the lead the dissatisfaction is the best.

Overtime staff can become disgruntled due to several reasons such as:

1. Low pay

2. Lack of motivation

3. External factors (Personal issues)

4. Not meeting sales targets

5. Disliking the Boss

6. Disliking colleagues

As the manager, it is imperative to notice signs of dissatisfaction in staff and resolve the issues by:

1. Calling up the staff and enquiring why they are unhappy.

2. Organising staff training.

3. Having adequate employees benefit such as health care plans

2. Giving bonuses or rewards for their efforts where necessary.

3. Resolving staff disputes and creating a healthy working environment.

4. Knowing when to let go, after all has been said and done , terminating a disgruntled staff's appointment may be the best option.
You already outlined it all, but most times terminating the employee is not the right steps why not try to fix the reason for such behavior, enhance his or her productivity if not changes then you can let go
 
I agree that this topic is very interesting. I agree to all the reason why there are disgruntled staff. I also experience it and one point in my life have been a disgruntled staff.
It is correct, however as an employer, human resources manager, you must take into account the legal part, at the time of a dismissal must be fully justified, otherwise, the employee can sue the company which is not the idea.

Gee, that is very cruel to fire out a disgruntled employee. The best approach is to determine the reason for the behavior. He might have been short changed or abused.
 
There is no problem in life that doesn't have a solution, something must have made them disgruntled,to boost productivity you need to figure it out
 
I think most times the motivation of the staff could drop as he or she is been offered low salary for the huge job , he or she would not be so happy executing the job sucessfully
 
A disgruntled worker is like a child who asks the father for bread but in turn is given stone. The reality of some staff from low wages to long hours at work and miserable working conditions. Why won't they grunt like a pig? If they cannot speak for fear of termination, their body language will speak volume.
 
You see the first two factors which are the issue of low pay and lack of motivation, they are very essential. Staffs must be paid accordingly, never try to underpay your staffs or else they will run away. If you are treating them with respect and the pay is good, they will like you the more.

One thing that makes more stuffs to become disgruntled is when most business owners refuses to increase their salary for a very long time especially when they have been promise so and for our business to pacify such an employee it needs to increase that employee's salary.

Yes at this point motivation and unity is all will be needed to keep the organisation going,that is why most business organisation always try to make sure that employees relationship is so strong with each other as this can improve unity
