Gambling is wired into some people's system, they just can't do without it, they find it very easy to do even though they have been loosing much money in the process, they still believe that they will recoup all their lost money in just one win.

Yeah, most people gamble to try and make some quick money, but some people are there just to play. Even if they win a lot of money, they'll keep gambling until they lose all of it just for entertainment

Because they are basically not the same thing, in gambling, you invest only a very few when betting but you earn a lot ( if you are lucky enough ), when in investing you have to wait for so long to be able to get back your capital and start making profit, a matter of time

Overtime, individuals tend to look for quicker means of generating income or double their money by staking on series of options available to them on various gambling platform which they feel has high returns and very easy to cash out.
Eventually, most funds are lost during such process due to the inability of individuals to explore numerous investment options available to them such as

Peole that gamble do it because they want quick money. They do it because they are lazy or maybe they have run out of ideas. But to be frank, I don't judge people. Some have become billionaire through gambling.

This is a great point. I guess the reason why people are into gambling is you would not have to wait a long time to earn something. If you win, you win. While in investing, it takes a long term investment to see some big gains.

I know of some people who has the tendency to gamble not only with his money but with his career. One friend lost his job because of gambling which is not allowed in their office. When he indulged in business he again thought that he could earn quicker if he would gamble so he goes to the casino often and eventually he lost not only hi business but also his home which served as the payment for his debts in gambling.
