Would you invest all you had left?

Lets say you have come up with a new idea that you think can make you rich or good money. Now lets say in order to achieve this goal, you need to invest every dollar you have left to your name. Would you do it? It's very hard to invest all you have left, especially in something untested. I myself would not invest everything I had, because I would need to be able to recover if my investment doesn't pay off.

But, what would you do? Would you invest if you know it can be profitable?

If I already have enough money to cover my 12 months expenses, and if I am earning enough money to pay my monthly bills, I think I can take the risk of investing everything I have left
