People will always want to relate with existing brands so the fact that they reject your products at the start of your business does not mean you are a failure, is part of business so you move on but make

Find out the reason for the rejection, ask questions, seek how competitive markets do their product, permit and learn from the critics to better your product and gain that rejective customer.

It's a normal thing if such thing happens especially at the start of the business. You need not to be discouraged, you only need to be persistent in your business
