What is difference between e-commerce and traditional-commerce?

Back then in school I learnt a lot about commerce, both the e commerce and traditional commerce and if I could still recall, the e commerce which means electronic buying and selling has to do with trading your goods online while traditional commerce is the one to one, face to face selling and buying. The later might seem outdated but it's even more rampant presently than the e commerce.

Last day I was searching about some topics on Google. I read one new word " traditional commerce".. Can anyone tell what is it? And what is difference between e-commerce and traditional commerce?

As the terms imply, i think e-commerce has to do with buying and selling electronically or digitally; you do not get to see the person you are doing business with physically.
Traditional commerce is the opposite; buying and selling is done physically.

I don't totally agree with you. it's true that the world is evolving so fast and most transactions are being carried out online but there are still alot of people who are not comfortable with online commerce because of scammers.

It is true that a lot of people are not comfortable as well when it comes to online transaction because of scam but I believe that they are in the minimum number when compared to those that are into online transaction.

E commerce is acronym for electronic commerce and it refers to ever kind of transactions done online while the traditional commerce is every transaction that is manually, hand to hand and offline. Buying something or ordering something online is an example of e-commerce and going to market to get something is an example of traditional commerce.

Ever since the pandemic of coronavirus a lot of businesses that we have run in a traditional we have been suffering so much and that's the only e-commerce part of the business that have enjoyed very well.
