Both are important equally, pensioners have dedicated their lifetime in service and were very faithful in carrying out their duties during their time in service. Employees on the other hand are currently serving. So both need to be treated nicely

I think pensioners also needs a job so he/she needs to be an employee too to be able to meet up with life and it demands. Families and well wishes, after all life is full of stress and agony we just have to keep pushing. Both the pensioners and the employees that are still working needs the money, because both have responsibilities and families to provide for, of which their pension or salary respectively might be their only source of income. Although the pension fund have been contributed already while the pensioner was still in active duty, so the pension fund is expected to be readily available, but in a rare case that the funds are not enough, then it's better to give both of them part of their pension and salary respectively so that no one will go empty handed.
Well, it is very unfortunate that despite how pensioners are supposed to be treated very well, most government do not see reason in it. Those people have done a lot of great works for government all the days of their life, they are supposed to be treated as kings and queens. But unfortunately, government don't do that.It is a general believe that folks that collects pension are our old people. But in an economic situation where management of resources need to come in and they can only pay either the employees or the pensioners for a year, who should receive these funds..

Bothe the employees and pensioners should be paid. Old people need money to cater for their needs because they may not have anyone else or any other source of income and employees need money too.It is a general believe that folks that collects pension are our old people. I totally agree with you @Eodine , both pensioners and workers deserve to receive their pay for services rendered, regardless of whether they are retirees or active workers. There should not be a situation where one is denied pay to give it to the other, as both have earned it.Bothe the employees and pensioners should be paid. Old people need money to cater for their needs because they may not have anyone else or any other source of income and employees need money too.
I have read different posts, and few understood the thread very well, you are absolutely right in your post "there should not be any kind of favoritism, there since both deserve to be paid" is my way of understanding and I support your opinion, there should be no doubt who will be benefited, since both have the same right. This question is very complex, I think pensioner and employee are of the same level, but the little difference that is there is just that pensioner is already done with work where employee is still working for the company i think there should not be any kind favourism there since both deserve to be paid.
Pensioners are people who have retired from work and have been automatically enrolled in a pension schemes by the government of their country. Employees are those who are still working. It is a general believe that folks that collects pension are our old people.
