Ever bought a Computer (Laptop/Desktop) and it's faulty the same week you bought it??

There are some places here in my country, where you will get a clean Computer but will get damaged within days and I still don't know the reason why that happens. Have you ever bought a Computer (Laptop or Desktop) and it's faulty the same week.

I've never had this happen to me, but if it does, I would take it back to the store I got it from and ask for a repair. If they don't offer that I'd ask for a replacement or refund. In this case a refund would probably be best. But if they don't pay you back, you can report them to the authorities, but I doubt the police could do much. You may need to get a specialist to help in a case like that.

If it's a store, send it in for a refund. If it's just some dude you bought a used PC from, then you're kind of stuck with it. There's probably not much else you could do.

Yes, this happened to me in 2006. I bought a laptop computer that I didn't know had been factory recalled. It had a faulty hard drive and motherboard that crashed on me all of the time. The place I bought it from was not willing to do a straight exchange for a different one. I ended up taking it somewhere and getting some of the parts swapped out of it. When they told me the motherboard was failing, I knew it was time to throw it out and get a newer computer. I ended up buying one at Wal-Mart years later.

It is crazy to be in that kind of situation. I have not bought a PC that started having issues the same week that I bought it. Personally, I prefer buying newer versions of gadgets that I make use of, and I bet that could have been the reason I am always lucky at it.

It happened recently. I bought a pc computer for my child and we discover that the battery and charging port were not working properly.
I returned it due to the warranty on it. I was told to come get it back in two weeks time. I got a call from the store to come pick it up, only to find out that nothing was done to fix it. Since then,it has been one fault after the other.

That isn't fair, at least you bought the PC not that you were dashed. The last time I had this issue, I wanted to sue that company for doing that to me but I was informed that the PC would be changed immediately and it was

Never had that experience before but I had one that got spoilt within two months. I visited the merchant immediately and he directed me to a place to get it repaired on the company's book since it's still under warranty. Even the fairly used one I once bought didn't pose a problem.
