Would you increase the amount of rent every year if your tenant is really good?

No obviously not.If I am willing to increase the rent it would depend on other reasons. It is really harsh just to increase the rent because you have a good tenant.I personally if I was good financially and my tenant was good then I would have low the rent

i personally wouldn't do that, it's sort of abusing and will make people avoid you the next time they try to look for something to rent, rent usually increases after lot of years

I dont think that can be a good or any better ideas in a real man sense. the increment of your rent every year will definitely makes your tenants fine ride to some extent even aggressive some may decide to lived your house and some will definitely decide to be any enemy to you so that is never a good idea.

It doesn't make sense to increase your rent because your tenant are really good. If you want to increase it then let it not be on the basics that your tenants are good.
True, there should always be a legit reason as to why the increase, and also the landlord has to consider the fact that some might have taken the house because they felt they could handle the rent with their budget. But if it get increased constantly, then there might be an issue.

Okay thanks ,because to me I don't really see the need for me to be adding the rent, there is no need to be so greedy with money as far as these people that are living with you do not give you any issue just allow them to enjoy what they actually paid for.
I will not increase the amount of rent if I didn't is really good because it will seems as if I am trying to punish him for his good and kind gestures.

I don't know if I would keep increasing the rent but the same is being done to me and I know how I feel when that happens, if I'm financially okay like I want I see no reason increasing the rent and causing difficulty for people all for my greed
The thing is that I am not a greedy person and so if I come across a tenant who is prompt in paying up his rent year in and year out I will definitely keep the rent at the price it was for him because he has proven to be trustworthy.

Exactly there is no need to literally repay a good tenant with Increased rent all.jist because he is consistent, but unfortunately that seems to be the case with some property owners

There are of greedy landlord over here that will not even care no matter how good you are to them but their agreed will be something they can never overcome to allow you to rest , they will keep on increasing the rent no matter how you are good.

You will only send your tenant parking out of your house if you increase the rent of your house because your tenant is a good person. If you have a good tenant, you must look for ways to appreciate them not make life to be difficult for them by increasing your rent.

I might increase it depending on the economy of a country, since the economy is depreciating everyday and as a result of this it is possible for me to increase a little house rent, you should not expect the house rent to remain constant over a long period.

Increasing the amount of rent yearly doesn't seem right though, it will sour the thoughts of the good and law abiding tenant of yours. You shouldn't take advantage of his or her good will and be increasing house rent every year, no one does such shit.

In our country there is rental law that allows the owner to increase the rent yearly to a maximum of 20%. That is onerous and could force the tenant to move. However, some landlords are considerate as to increase the rent once every 2 years and for just about 5% or 10 % increase so as not to burden the tenant.

If my tenant is a good tenant who always pays his rent and never default I will never be tempted to ever increase his rent because he has always been so consistent with paying his rent.
It might actually be difficult for you to keep this decision because if your neighbour is renting out the same flat like your own and he is Getting 1000 dollars yearly, you won't like to settle with $700 yearly rent from a good tenant.

It will be beneficial to both parties if you as the landlord do this increase in the pace of every two years in-between instead of just adding up the rental fee every year. That will not be so cool
This is not good and it is not a wise decision or idea to increase your property every year because your tenant is good instead you might scare or drive the tenant a way by perpetrating such attitude.

I completely agree with you that I might not be able to keep up with this promise that I have made but I would really keep my tenant into consideration before I even think of including their rent.

Same thing happens in my country. It's very bad that the government could not put landlords to check, they can increase rentage any time any day they deems fit. But if my tenants are good to me or even if they are not, I need to be considerate .

That's the increment will be continuous non stop?? that's not worth it, if it stands that way. We should only increase when their is massive develop there every year.

A good tenants should know that you really want to help them and they should also consider you when you increase the price a little, I don't even know what people should do in this situation especially if the tenants is good, it might even be a difficult decision to make.

I believe that it is good to treat others the way we want to be treated. We should know the worth of the house and stick with it irrespective of the tenants financial strength

Wether a Tennant currently living under my apartment is good or not good, I will increase the tenancy rate of.my accomodations at the set times I always increase them. So, it has nothing to do with if a Tennant is good or not
