Would you advice someone to have family members as partners

A lot of people like to keep personal relationship out of their businesses. Would you advice someone who wants to create a startup to include personal relations.

it's not a bad thing as long as it's a trusted family members and the family member knows at least a basic knowledge on the business

Hmm, you didn't quote your post well, are you talking about the business partnership or marital partnership?? But if its in business, then its worth the partnering because some family members are still good and trusted in business.

I dont see anything wrong there so far as the said family members are serious minded and innovative.
It becomes a problem when the efforts of the family members tend to weigh a business down.

If you work with a family member, you just have to trust each other. now if they are not confident they cannot work together. it would be better to work on your own.

It’s a very good idea. Family members makes the best partners so far there’s no breach to business etiquettes.

If the family is qualified enough to handle the Task I don't see any reason why won't employ the person + there must be terms and conditions that most be followed strictly
