What is the difference between trading and business?

Trading refers to sale and purchase of commodities when the prices are up or down. Business refers to sale of products at a fixed price regardless of whether prices are up or down.

I believe trade involves buying and selling of goods, while business involves all activities performed by a business entity including, buying and selling, advertising and marketing

Trading usually involves sale and purchase of stocks or shares and it may also involve dealing in cryptocurrencies. However, There are many traders who also trade in physical goods. They purchase physical goods when the price goes down and sell them when the price goes up.

To me there is no difference between trading and business because you trade your business and you business your trade so they all are two in one.

The difference between trade and business is that commerce comprises the purchasing and selling of products, but business involves all actions conducted by a commercial organization, such as buying and selling, advertising, and marketing.

In my opinion on the trading and business difference, I don't see any difference between the two here. Someone who is a trader is involved in business as it stands because he is no buying and selling to himself alone trading

Trading and business is more or less the same, picking from the word "business." Trading is a business in the act and a business tag or name can be said to be trading.

Trading, in my own view, is not business. If you're a trader, you don't own a business because trading involves only buying and selling which is a little concept in business. How do you view the two? Do we say trading is business and business is trading?
Trading is a form of business.
When you exchange goods and services, you're carrying out a business (what you do to earn a living). On the hand, you cannot say that business is trading.
They do not mean the same thing, trading is a form of business.

Business encompasses all activities such as trading, exchange of goods and services, and other key areas that make it behave as a single unit. You can't remove trading from business unless you have nothing to offer

From your explanation, you mean business it self is the general word where everything can be found in it, which includes trading, dealing with customers and the likes. While trading has to do with a specific aspect of the business. Is this what you mean?

You're correct, that one trade is made doesn't mean that it is a business - though transaction has been carried out.
But trading becomes a business when it is done over time - one then perfects the art of profitably trading and builds an empire around it. That's when it becomes a business.

I think the two words mean the same thing in practical terms. Trading might mean exchange of items (money for goods) literally but it practical experiences, it means the same thing as business.

Trading is a part of business, while business is not a part of a trading, some business do not involve trading rather those business involves rendering services

Business refers to the complete process of producing, selling, and controlling things, whereas commerce is a more limited activity that solely involves the buying and selling of goods. Trade is a component of business, but it is not the same as business. Imports and exports are commonly referred to as trade.

To me, trading and business are almost the same thing. which involves the buying and selling of goods and services, for the purpose of making profit. both the two concepts are aimed at profit making and transactions between two or more person.

Well they are kind of similar Because they both require something in exchange for the other services but then trade has to do with exchange and business has to do with providing services

I fully agree with you.
Trading and business are different terms.
Trading which involves buying and selling of goods is a type of business.

In other words, business is the entire enterprise of making, selling, and controlling the production of goods, while trade, a narrower activity, involves only the buying and selling of goods. Trade is a part of business, but business is not the same as trade. ... Trade usually refers to imports and exports.
I think you have explained it. Business involves the whole process or activities of running an establishment while trading is the most important and integral process or activities in business.

The end product of every business is to make profit and that is made through trading goods, products or services.

You will have to explain a bit further on how trading is not a business. Trading and business are the same . Business is simply buy , sell and keep the profit. Trading too is buy, sell and keep the profit.
