Motivating Employees during Change

As an employer,you really need to motivate your employee in very situation. Employees are humans,you really need to treat them as one. You shouldn't be too hard on them. Being hard on them isn't what will make them carry out their duties effectively
Though you have a point there and I must say I agree, I personally won't be happy if my boss is too harsh on me. But don't you think when you become too relaxed with them, it might lead to them not taking you seriously?
 
I think it would be very hard to motivate employees when it comes to pandemic because they may always have a fear of losing work or job during such times.
 
The first thing to do is to ensure that you reiterate the vision of the business and why they need to be on your side.
Show them the path you aim to follow which would be the best and why they need to be on the same page with you too.
 
Staff motivation should be a routine activity. The staffs should be motivated on a regular basis inorder to improve the staff's commitment to work.

Motivation of employee should be done on a routine activities like you said , a good example is increasing the salary of the people that has been in your company from a year above so that the people coming will see it as a motivation to stay.

If could also be incentives. It makes lots of sense to always give give incentives to workers most especially the ones that are diligent with their work. It could also be a salary increase.
 
The best thing for an organization is to be motivating her employees..this is highly and very important. Employees are very important to an organization as customers are also important.you really need to treat them right for the best result
 
Many employers if labour and business owners fail to realise that the overall wellbeing of their employees has a great impact on their productivity and if an employer doesn't make provision to cater for such needs they might be a drop in the overall productivity of their business.

I lost my job due to the pandemic and that's not motivating at all, but the motivation we at talking about here is by at least supporting your workers in times of problem.

The employees are one of most important key components in any business or company. Without, there's no way your business or company is going to functional or operational. Whenever there's a change, they need to be carried along.
