It is important to buy an insurance as we never know what will happen in the future. It is never wrong to be prepared on some unpredictable life events in life. Many business and individuals have it.

Insurance is good only for businesses with tangible assets that are very costly and whose costs are too higher than the amount to be. Paid as insurance premium on them. Imagine paying a premium of 1000$ yearly on a property not worth more than 800$

as an individual yes, i actually have atleast 3 of them, one for my bike, one in the school and one for the health care, the first two ones are actually a must, but the last is optional

Nope. I do not have an insurance, mostly because people in my country (almost everyone) do not take the issue of insurance seriously. They believe that Insurance companies will benefit from them more than they can benefit from the Insurance companies.

I have life insurance, with a term period of 20 years. The insurance will cover death loss and accidents. However, I did not insure myself in the hope to give my surviving family something to live on. I insured myself as a way to save money. For 20 years, I will be saving some money and when the insurance matures I will have a good amount on my hands.
