Having a mentor is actually very important as this would make your journey as a writer very easy. I think you can get a mentor online, You can also get a mentor through seminars. Twitter is also a great place to find for a mentor.

It's really good if you can hire someone and take the person as your mentor in writing field,through this means you will be able to ask questions and learn so much from him because he has been in this field for so many years and have professional experience but some people find this very hard to take a step doing that rather they keep reading some content on search engines on how to improve their writing skills,the material may be of help but it wont serve the need as having a personal mentor

Yes, It is really good if you can find for a mentor especially in the writing field. Having a mentor in the writing field would really help improve your writing skills and it would also help in fast pacing your career as a writer.
