Is it Important To Communicate Delay in Salary Payment to Employees?

We are working for the money just to make end meet and all workers will be expected to be paid atbthe end of the month , so its normal as a good boss to relay any delay in payment to them so that can prepare ahead .
 
That's one of the most important signs and character that will be exhibited by employees. At the end all these things will still have a negative effect in our business and is something that could have been avoided with just a simple explanation.
I agree with this assertion completely. All you have to do as an employer is to be honest with your employees because if they are at a peace of mind regarding salaries, the high productivity shown by them will remain constant

Yea, and also when all these things are not being discussed on time , employees might start believing that the business owners has purposely refused paying their salary. Personally I will start seeking for another employment immediately.
 
It's the most important thing. In any case, an employer should find all possible ways to prevent something like that from happening but if it does happens, you should inform your employees in a sober mood that will show how sorry you are about the situation. The employees have work for the money so it's their right to receive it at the right time

This is true. Salary arrears which are not accounted for tends to make workers feel uneasy, and the natural reaction is for them to explore their options. This will distract them from the work at hand and severely lower their effectiveness
 
Oh yeah sure..one can complain. Sometimes it can be coincidence; maybe one way or the other your account wasn't rightfully selected during the monthly salary transaction. So I think complaining wouldn't be a bad idea though.

Omo that's how it should be. Anyway business owners now are willing to communicate the challenge they are having in their business organisation with their employees. Only an experience business owners won't be able to do so.

Yea. It is not really easy , most times I always blame the government on the reasons why a lot of people are being played with by wicked employers , even when their salaries are not even enough.
 
Of course you have to make a case for the payment of your salary if it is delayed. It is your right and you deserve it. You just have to speak to your employer or write a letter if possible and lay out your complaints to them. In time you will be paid.
