How to Handle Clients that Refuse to pay?

Client that refused to pay most be not be handle with ease. Any transaction most not occur between you again. And you must report him or her to the nearest police station

For transactions carried out online to be reported to police? How would the police be able to handle such issue? Take for instance, you wrote an article for a client in USA, and he refused to pay. How will the police tackle the matter?

One of the things that usually kill businesses is heavy bad debts written off which is caused by Refusal of customers to pay. To handle this obstinate customers, kindly and maturely introduce law enforcement. Do not take some hasten decisions that may later boomerang

If the mistake has been made the first time it is better for you not to make such anymore, the best thing is to ask for your pay before taking up any task of doing job for someone who has a reputation of not paying.

I think it is important you collect at least 60% of the pay before doing a work or service for a client. Also you make sure to collect the rest of the balance before presenting them the work or service. I think people should be respectful enough to pay people who work for them.

Concerning a client that refuse to pay for the services you render. Well, it is always very frustrating and annoying when such situation surface or occur, the best thing is to persuade the person to pay up and of he refuses that the end of partnership between you too, no matter how big the next contract might be , they will notstill pay up

Things gets ugly and frustrating, when you don't receive payment after a service. I was told of a writer who finished his work beautifully and delivered it to the client on time, but what did this writer get in return? No pay. He kept on disturbing the client for donkey years to no avail. Hence, if you were that writer how would you get your payment?

It's lost funds as there is no way such money can be recovered unless the client decides to pay one day.

Having a solid plan that involves getting the client to pay 70% of the cost before starting a job is always important. This will act as a fall back should anything go wrong.

When a client refuse to pay for services rendered what you should do is keep on disturbing him if he refuse you can leave the money and never do business with that person again but if the money is large the court will decide such cases.

Research the Client. Before you agree to work with someone, research the person and Make a Contract even get Payment Upfront for Larger Projects,Charge Late Fees, stop working

This is rampant among some clients in business industry. I'm also a victim of this question. But, on my own I manage them by collecting a certain amount of my charged amounts before laying hands on the work, with an agreement of collecting my balance on the delivery day. Else, I will tell them to source for elsewhere.

For the clients that refuse to pay you, you can arrest such clients because if he's staying in different location, you can also handle he by be clam, and give him the reasons why his must pay and also pleased with him.

before signing any contract with a client there has to be a signed agreement of which form the payment will take whether to be paid drastically or to be paid once

This is not a good thing. Most business owners want to avoid such kind of customers as much as possible and you should too.
That is why as a businessman you must never deliver a product or a service without being paid first. Abide by this rule and you will avoid bad customers well.

Take this thing as a lesson and does this mistake again in life to deal with such persons & make a rule in your business that always take half payment in advance before giving any services to your clients. The people who will be sincere, will definitely send you advance payment.

By simply replacing loans by pay to get instead, don't give anything till you get paid for what you are trying to offer, you are the one who should fear clients that run and not them that should fear you, because everyone knows your place but you don't know about them

First i would make a rule that to order my work/service they will need to pay the 50% of the payment as a deposit as a proof of their legitimacy as a buyer. So they wouldn't decide to cancel or decide not to pay. In the another 50% i will send a copy with a thumbmasks just to prove that the order is done and they will need to send the remaining 50% before i send the clear copy

How you can handle stubborn clients.
It is not proper that after working for a client you end up not getting payment as reward for your service.
It is not a good experience what you need to do if you know such client is not report this matter to government or appreciate authority for interrogation.

In such cases of no payment most people tend to resort to violence which is actually a wrong approach.
I think the best thing is to give more time because for someone not to pay, either the person is going through some financial problems or the person just want to withhold your pay for no good reason. In that case you can go to the police with a signed contract.

As an independent business owner having a client refuse to pay you makes for a difficult situation. Fortunately, you can use some strategies to help make the client hold up their end of the deal. Communicating effectively is an important part of convincing clients to make payments. If this doesn’t work, you have a few legal options you can take to secure payment from your client. These are some options to take:
Research the Client. Before you agree to work with someone, research the person,Make a Contract with the client,Seek Legal Action,Stop Working with the client and
Research the Client. Before you agree to work with the client.

In order to avoid a situation where someone refuses to pay, make sure you agree before going on with the contract. Let him pay you half of the money before you start, then you give him the finished Services after he completes the payment.
