Things gets ugly and frustrating, when you don't receive payment after a service. I was told of a writer who finished his work beautifully and delivered it to the client on time, but what did this writer get in return? No pay. He kept on disturbing the client for donkey years to no avail. Hence, if you were that writer how would you get your payment?

Keep in touch with the debtors, and swore never to render any service or hire any equipment or sell any item on credit.
Don't rush, d universe will provide what will be sufficient for u

In such case, just take it was a life lesson and never do business with such person ever.

My experience with such clients that refuse to pay is that they never do.

But if it's a very large sum that can make you charge the person to court, do it and get your right.

Why the client refuse to pay, is there any complain about the work or product? If there is no complain, then keep worry him/her to pay your money. If he's still not pay leave him if money no much and gain experience. But if the money much you should arrest him.

This is one of the reasons why I wont treat family and friend with prefential when I start my business. In fact, I even prefer online business where you must pay before you are served. The only to do is to involve legal enforcement.

Research the Client
Before you agree to work with someone, research the person. Does he or she have a local reputation for paying on time, or do other small businesses refuse to work with the person because of late payments? If the prospective client has a bad reputation around town, you might want to avoid dealing with him or her.

2. Make a Contract
You should have each client sign a contract with you before starting work. The contract should detail the project you'll be doing, how much the client will pay you, and when payments are expected. It will also state that you'll charge late fees if the client's invoice remains unpaid for a specific time. Be upfront about how much is the late fee. That way, if you have to take legal action, the client is legally bound by the contract

As a writer, I would suggest getting payment in milestones. Rather than wait till end of the month before getting paid, request payment weekly. Then for bulky projects consisting of several pages, request payment in sections, rather than at the end of the entire job.

Well in such a case, diplomacy will come in handy, what I will do in such a situation is to approach the client that refused to pay in a gentle manner, reminding him of what he is owing me.
If after that he refuses to pay me, then I will leave him and from then onward he ceases to be my client,in business we win or lose sometimes. So loosing one bad client won't hurt me a bit.

well as for me I will suggest researching about the clients before working with them, checking their trustworthiness and also if they have the hobbit of paying back on time or delivering on time, the history of the client is very important, a client with a very bad history should not be trusted.

Relies upon what you offered to them. In the event that you convey preceding any installment, at that point you are setting yourself up for migraines. Get some type of collateral up prior to giving any product or services.

In the event that it is past the point of no return for that, at that point you need to have a vis-à-vis meeting with the individual and comprehend what's causing the absence of installment. Help the client pay you. Possibly they are in a difficult situation and need a brief period. Perhaps they don't mean to pay by any stretch of the imagination. Whatever the explanation, don't simply leave.

For our business, the products don't move possession until they pay. We can take whatever what accomplished for them in the event that they have not paid us. No judgment from the courts is required.

When a client refuses to pay you for a service you rendered, the best you can do is blacklist him. Never do a service with him no matter what.
Bad clients are a problem and you must cut off any connection you have with them.

Forgiveness is best way to give lesson who didn't pay after service and make softness in others heart with good behavior we never should try to urge him and should impress from own behavior.

That's one negative impact of online job, you can arrest such a client. Because he's staying in different location, you only communicate with him or her through the platform you met him. So it will be hard to claim your money when you have gone lengthy times trying to do that. If you try your beat and your best couldn't get you the money you worked for, you should forget about it and move on. In life either we make gains or losses, sometimes you accept what you see and move on, hoping that better clients come your way. Remember every one are not the same, we still have good people.

As a writer that is well known by many people, should in case a client refuse to pay up his/her money owing me for a long time. I would ask the client to refer someone I could render my service to that will attract prompt payment.

There are some people out there who are hell-bent on growing their businesses on other people's sweat without paying. There is the reason why I prefer online platform like Warrior Forum, Upwork and Fiverr when it comes to render writing service.

Those sites are ready to go any length to prevent cheat between the buyers and the sellers using their platform.

Well back to your question, if your client is based in the same locality as you, I urge you to inform necessary Authority to look into the case.

One mistake every one should avoid is to take on a project without a commitment fee. This fee will ensure that if the work after been done is not to the satisfaction of the client for whatever reasons and he decides to cancel, you would not have worked for free.

A client cannot just refuse to pay without anything wrong but in case such thing happened he or she must never be let go, the products should collected from him or her immediately if he doesn't have any tangible reason for his actions and if he try to resist the collection he should be handed over to the security for proper investigation and legal action.

My take on writers is that they are the most abused worker in the business world. When I was in the film academy I was invited to be a member of the screenwriters guild on the strength of my movie scripts that I submitted. There were so many stories about writers not being paid. Worse, their stories were stolen by producers (it was actually the sidekick or assistant). In the online world I had also experienced not being paid for my articles not to mention that recently there were forums that scammed me. Oh well, my advice is to forget that client and be careful next time. One problem with the internet is there is no regulator so the scammers can just get away with it.

It is really a very frustrating situation when a client refuses to pay for the work which he has been hired us for. So it is better to work on such sites which are verified so that the client can not double deal us.

The truth is there is no measure the writer can take to get paid from the person he sent the job to. So far it's freelancing and remote job you just have to be careful with those giving you writing gig to do. Better still register or create an account with freelancing website, they serve as third party between freelancer and those giving out jobs. With this it will be easy to get your money after getting the job done
