How many years would there be peace after World War 3?

Very few years passed from the First World War to the Second. More than 70 years have passed from the second to today. Does this mean that after World War 3, peace could come for more than 500 years or not. In my opinion, this is a very real pattern?

Yeah, because cavemen don't have the ability to make modern war, so 500 or more years sounds about right. I'm just kidding, but maybe not. In fact, someone said World War IV would be fought with sticks and stones. Has anyone heard that quote?
