Ethereum the best alternative to bitcoin?

If we are to consider the coin better for transactions, it wouldn't be ethereum because its fees are even crazier than that of bitcoin at the moment. I wouldn't use ETH as an alternative to bitcoin in any way.

Yes, I think is the best alternative to bitcoin. Ethereum is very popular, a reliable cryptocurrency and listed into whatever exchange, easy to earn if we talk about cryptocurrencies earning Google Play Store apps. In any way, to bitcoin and ethereum I would add litecoin, that in my country is very popular and appreciated. And easy to withdraw from exchanges, because it's fees are very low compared to bitcoin's and ethereum's.

I think that in terms of it being an investment, it can be better because it has a lower value. But in terms of its use, they both have very high transaction and gas fees so in that way I think that they are on the same level in their reduction of usability for daily transactions.

I also believe ethereum won't surpass bitcoin but it is much faster to make profit from ethereum investment than bitcoin because of percentage rise when compared to bitcoin.

There lots of cryptocurrencies that are capable of replacing Bitcoin. Once there are demands for the particular crypto, the price will rise. If the demand continue to remain high, the price will skyrocket. One needs to do due diligence before investing. Not really. Yes, Ethereum is a very strong crypto with a very promising future, but it will never replace the magnitude and ubiquity of Bitcoin.

Surely i5 won't take over the place of Bitcoin anytime soon. Even if its creators like they create the smartest contracts and nodes over it, it can't surpass the remarkable achievements of Bitcoin. Bitcoin was created to be number one and it is working on that purpose.

Hmm.. .no ether is never an alternative to bitcoin because the gass fee of ethereum is almost close to that of bitcoin which you can call that an alternative.

Ethereum can't be the best alternative to Bitcoin when the gas fee is just high like Bitcoin, even higher than. I see Litecoin just being closer to being the ideal alternative to Bitcoin, when it comes to consuming lesser gas fee, and being faster in transaction processes.
