Do you have forum awards?

Does your forum have a forum awards every year? I know bizdustry had something like this, or does, and I've seen it done at other forums. It's where you can praise your users. Maybe give out awards to users with the most posts, the most creative, the most posts for the month, etc. Do you like having user awards?

I have unlockable awards. If my forum was more active like my old one was, I would do yearly ones again.

We did those every year on the old one and the members loved it. Everyone would vote and the winners would be announced the second week of January.

I do not use any awards on my forums, I have never explored anything beyond the default features on my forums. I am using open source forum software and I have yet to explore different kinds of awards available for the forum software I am using.

Giving forum Awards to your community members is something that is more like a motivating factor for everyone in the community to be engaging and contributing to the platform..

When these Awards comes with a little bit of incentive, I believe it is something that is capable of pushing every other members to engage actively more than they used to.
