Clothing Industry: Should Clothes Be Gender Neutral?

As long as the human sex is not neutral there is no way the clothes that we are wearing is going to be neutral and be effective for us to make use of which will directly influence the market.

It actually goes both ways for companies that are making the clothes and dolls that are selling the clothes because the company will be selling more as well as those that are selling to the final consumers.

Though there are clothes that both gender can use but I don't think that not targeting gender would be the right thing to do.
There'll always be clothes that can be swapped, think about underwear for example. Gender sensitive clothes still abound.

This can be very hard to achieve a socially in a society where by majority of the ladies and women like to wear clothes that reveal some parts of their body. They will find it difficult to wear clothes that are gender-neutral though some of them wear clothes that does not belongs to their gender.

Though there are outfits that can be worn by both men and women, I don't believe that ignoring gender would be the best option.

Yeah, culture plays a big role in how we dress. Therefore, one should consider it when starting a clothes business. You should study the culture around you then decide which clothes you will sell.

That's if you are selling clothes offline where your market is limited but in the online space you could sell different cloths because you are reaching almost every culture on Earth.

It should be gender neutral because they're are cloth that are masculine in nature but when our female counterpart put it on its suit them. The is nothing wrong in making cloth neural.

I feel this argument is one sided...on a straight perspective, all male wears can be worn by virtually all females, but not all female wears can be worn by male.. so I think it should still be segregated. Also Because in the moment of purchase and testing there is need to safety in terms of comfortability in the dressing room.

You have a good point of argument and it has been happening for a very long time in this world, females do wear things that belongs to make , but males cannot wear most of the wears belongings to females.

Cloths should be gender neutral because there are many cloths from the masculine gender that fits our female folks very well. Diversifying the cloth we produce also helps economic growth.
Cloths should be made base on the culture of that environment, they way people of that area came to see the way of dressing then cloths should be in regards to that.
I do not believe in gender neutrality in clothes, some clothes look better on women and some clothes look better on men. Some clothes cannot be worn by men but they are perfect for women, where as some clothes are better suited for men

I support you a large extend, clothes makers or designers wears should target their clothing towards both gender not only one specific gender it's makes their wears more accessible to people

This is actually my believe as well because when there is money actually available for you to do what you are supposed to do then there is no need in wasting time about it. If you figure out that's getting a particular brand of the clothes is going to favor your business I believe that you should do it without wasting time.

This depends on the nature of the clothes to be made, as we know that fashion is advancing rapidly as clothes peculiar to men in the past can now be comfortably worn by women and vise versa, but we still have a line of clothes that can't be interchanged.

Cloths can't be gender neutral because the physique of gender is different. Male stature is totally different from the female stature. So, we can't really put on same clothes. Although there are some gender neutral Clothes.

there are even some clothes now that are unisex which can be worn by a male and a female , i have seen where a husband and a wife sew the same style from a tailor and it perfectly fits the wife.

We have so many clothing industry business that are gender neutral , they produces make and female clothing while some only produce for one gender and leaves the other out because that's their area of specialties.

It s all at there own advantage. There are some companies that are specialised in the production of a particular gender clothing while there are some that are neutral in gender depending on their level of benefit.
