Can other crypto currencies appreciate in value like Bitcoin?

In cryptocurrency, anything can happen. No one knows bitcoin will experience this increment until 2017. So any coin has high tendency has equal chance of increasing in price. Ripple would have also increased in price before mid 2021 if not because of the law suit is facing currently.
 
yes other crypto currencies will rise, when we talk of that we are looking at Etherium straight away

Etherium has been striving in the recent time but it still has a long way to go, even if it is going to be a rival to Bitcoin in future it still can not be compared to bitcoin in the nearest future.bitcoin is already far gone up.
 
They are sure going to appreciate, but not close to bitcoin, not even half the path that bitcoin towed. As bitcoin seems to be on the rise every day with a very wide margin that is surprising everyone.
 
There are coin with great potentials everywhere there was even a coin that appreciated so much in value than Bitcoin some few months back. YFI YFII and some Defi tokens few months back were blazing hot. That alone shows a growth trajectory that other coins definitely will grow and still growing. Though Bitcoin is still the boss.
 
Not just bitcoins, other maajor crypto currencies have also gone up in the past couple of months. Just like Bitcoins, ethereum, litecoin and bitcoin cash have also gone through subsctantial price increase. I don't see ethereum, litecoin or bitcoin cash becoming $34000 (the current bitcoin price) any time soon, however, they will continue to rise.

You mean like Bitcoin or exactly as Bitcoin? No other coin can it's price reach that of Bitcoin but they can try. Examples are litecoin, Bitcoin cash, ripple. But their price cannot soar like Bitcoin. It is unbeatable in that aspect.

You mean like Bitcoin or exactly as Bitcoin? No other coin can it's price reach that of Bitcoin but they can try. Examples are litecoin, Bitcoin cash, ripple. But their price cannot soar like Bitcoin. It is unbeatable in that aspect.
 
Yes, because cryptocurrency is growing very fast this year But Bitcoin is the fastest growing currency and I don't think any other currency will be able to compete with it. If Bitcoin grows, it will affect other currencies as well.Some increase in value, some decrease in value.
 
Yeah I think sorry I believe that there is a second, third or infinite amount of junior bitcoins out there. We just need to give them the same quantity we gave bitcoin which is time.with time we would find out what cryptocurrency use to worth little but now worth alot.

Let's give the other coins time too and see how things play out. It's best to invest in them if you are opting for a long term investment.
I am optimistic that they are going to appreciate like Bitcoin, but it's going to take time.
 
There are many coins who started with a high value more than Bitcoin. But they don't survive, so I don't think another coin will appreciate in value like Bitcoin. Bitcoin is unique, is the first cryptocurrency, is the king…etc
 
I believe that someone in the future maybe in 30 years time these upcoming cryptocurrencies will gain ground just like btc..... when btc emerged newly people didn't take it serious only few had the foresight to see the future of btc and today they are millionaires.... I think Eth most especially has a future like BTC

I don't think Bitcoin can be crossed by any of the other coins in the market, because it all depends on the people's trust and interest to invest in particular currency, and bitcoin becomes world most treading currency and millions of people are investing in it
 
Definitely but will take a very long while, here we are talking about the ethereum and litecoin. Investors will have to divert their investments or resources to these coins and must be used for online payments and commodities trading to enable a rise in the value of these crypto. All these are ongoing and these cryptos may one day compete with btc.
 
All these undervalued coin can't appreciate like that of Bitcoin. Why I said this is because when Bitcoin came onboard it doesn't have much competition like what these coin are having now. There are countless of them which will make it hard for Investors to focus on one to invest into.

Bitcoin has made a lot of figures in currency, imagine having 1 bitcoin and you are a millionaire, it really crazy but that the fact. We never can tell if other currencies can grow extensively like bitcoin. Remember most people didnt know bitcoin could be this large.

Cryptocurrency is very unpredictable. Anything can happen here which is the most down token. It can also run with bitcoin because we cannot do any prescription on it. What is going to happen in cryptocurrency.

Why do you think that litecoin is more likely to reach the point that bitcoin has reached over Ethereum? I also would like to see litecoin reach that point and continue to prosper, however based on the market and the values that we are seeing the likely choice for this to happen is probably going to Ethereum over litecoin because it usage has increased drastically recently.
 
Other coins can succeed just like btc but personally I don't think any coin will be as volatile and btc is and get to the level btc has reached. Looking at how superb the use cases of ethereum is yet very far away to btc in terms of their prices respectively. I look forward to see good project that will wow us just like btc
