Well as far as I'm concerned the Urban settlement is already developed which makes it more easier for you to get business opportunities and make money in the process which is why it is good to invest in such settlements.

You are right with the developed area that can easily be rented out to potential tenants. When you are not satisfied with the rent then you can sell the property even for a minimal profit because the city or suburbs have a quick appreciation of value for real estate.

Investment in urban settlement brings about quick patronage and quick money at the same time. this is because in rural settlement, you are faced with the difficulty of having to build your business, familiarize your business with people and making them to like your business as well, all these do not happen in urban settlement.

Owning a bookshop, well equipped with enticing offers to your esteem customers like serving them coffee, when they purchase reasonable amount of books, and decide to take a sit to read few books at your shop That will really improve your sales.

Pardon me for this comment but it seems you are out of touch with reality. Even the big corporations have not planned on building a resort in the urban area because the real estate price is so high. There is nothing to see in the urban area but the high rise buildings and other structures.
