What's the easiest coding software to get in for development?

I would love to expand my coding abilities. I mostly am good with website construction, but have used site builders in the past. Anyway, what would you say is the easiest coding software to get more into coding and development?

What software would you recommend? Any free ones?

Python appears to be the easiest. It has less needless garbage. It's just the avoidance of things like in English where "Kn" has a silent "K" etc..

I have no knowledge of coding languages. In my school, in our computer class we learned Flow Chart and QBasic, but I was not interested in these things. These days I understand those lessons where the basic lessons on programming. I started taking interest only after I started building website. I might try something this year and I am also interested in learning about easiest software and language.
