What is quality traffic?

My understanding of quality traffic is the views that are made by human users. I know of the so called bots that inhabit forums and other sites that they actually do not count as traffic. The best way to get quality traffic is to promote the website in social media and forums so the the visits will come from the human users.

It is made by human and not a robot. This is why a lot of website owners always try their best to prevent robot from gaining access to their website because they cannot make money from them
