I think I have seen many websites that have such plugins. But sometimes the chat plugin is on website does not really help because some of them use bots to chat with people.

But when you're calling to laid a complaint, in most cases, the customer support will ask you for some documents and numbers that you didn't know offhand. So, you would've to cut the send the documents to their gmail, preferably. This can't happen with chatting.
I prefer to chat rather than calling customer care, because when they ask for certain documents I would have enough time to look for those documents which might not be available in the call option

Yeah, calling is also good but chatting is much more effective to solve customers' problems. Sometimes some documents are required and you can only provide that by chatting and not by calling.
