What happens to senior citizens in your culture? Are retirement homes common? Or do older generations continue to live with their children? Which is better?

In my culture, it's common for senior citizens to live with their children or other family members. Retirement homes exist, but they're not as popular as in some other countries. IMO, both options have their pros and cons, and ultimately it depends on the individual's preferences and needs.
And also, if you're wondering does feeling cold in elderly indicate morbidity, it can be a sign of certain health issues like poor circulation or anemia, but it's not always a cause for concern. It's always a good idea to check with a doctor if you're worried about any symptoms you or a loved one may be experiencing.
The most important thing is to ensure that our elderly population is taken care of and treated with respect and dignity, whether that means living at home or in a retirement home.

In my culture, it's a mix of things. Sometimes elderly parents live with their children, sometimes they are sent to nursing homes or assisted living, and sometimes in-home caregivers are hired to take care of the elderly so they don't have to leave home. It depends on the family and the wishes of the elderly person being cared for.
