Paid to take pictures?

Is there a site that will request pictures of different objects or items and then pay the person whose picture they like the most? I could have sworn this was a thing but I can’t find anything like this online anywhere I look.

You should look into stock photo sites, some of them allow for submissions, so that could be a good place to start. I don't really know of any other sites that will pay for your photos though.

Shutterstock is one of the best websites where I know people usually upload pictures of any kind and if they successfully make a self from if they are going to get paid by the website. I have not made use of it yet because it is not something I am interested in making money from.

The level of high quality pixels most smartphones now makes it very easy to snap very good pictures. It's like how good pictures taken with iPhone 14 Pro Max can be. If you add creativity when taking pictures using such smartphone, you're going to have something worth selling on those stock photo websites.

I do not think it is good to screenshot your face and send to the platform because they could photoshop these pictures for bad purposes and send you some funds and then see photoshopped photos on social media that affects bad your reputation may you screenshot anything else like your house or your garden but not your face.
