You are right by saying that, if you have a good skills set it will help you to earn a good amount of money, but if you have any skills you'll not earn a dime especially offline.
I see online freelancing as been the best because there are so many functions that will be easy online than the offline so I think that online freelancing is the best its one of those ways to get extra pay sourcing for traffic offline and advertising is always hard

I think it depends on the level of experience you are having, if you have a good experience you can earn money from the both of them, the level of experience you have also matters.

I feel like online freelancing is far better than offline freelancing. Doing things online is so much easier and faster than doing things offline and i feel it also applies to freelancing.
You are right, if you don't have experience you are just wasting your time, experience is very important especially if you are into business like trading, it will very much help you.

Doing business purely online, you must be able to establish a strong online presence in one way or the other. A personal website to showcase your background, skills, and portfolio is almost a must.
