If you're the boss of a business, do you ever step out of work without announcing it to anyone? Or do you let your employees know you're leaving for a bit? I have always dreamed of being a boss who can come and go as he pleases. But I would never be able to not let my employees know, as if I'm out, I want them to at least know where they can reach me. Right?

Anyway, how often do you step out of work as the boss?

I have experience running three different businesses and I never went away too long without telling anyone. When I went away, it was always for less than a week and I always had someone to take my place in my absence.

I live a simple life that involves not acting bossy when I am at the workplace. I just want works to happen and for people to be doing the roles that they are expected of at the workplace. Why would I just act like a boss when the staff are the people that ensure that everything work in a particular way?

So, before doing that, you are expected to put a plan in place to keep everything functional until you come back. When there's a need for a boss to resign or step down, there's a formal due process to be followed for it.

I agree with you. There are times that the boss should limit how much information that he or she gives to everyone that is working at the firm in terms of how much they move out or in at the moment. Ensure that you focus on keeping some secret of yourself away from everyone.

When it's an information that is going to be of a detriment to your business when they don't use it in the right way, it is something that is going to be regrettable for you to do.
