Hourly pay, is where you are paid by the hour. Salary, on the other hand is where you are paid a fixed sum of money; usually on a monthly or yearly basis, under the conditions of working a set amount of hours per week.

The problem with being paid by salaries, is that managers usually expect employees to work overtime if the business is having a busy period. Even if you have done your set amount of hours which is your salary pay, you won’t be paid for any additional hours that are completed; unless your employment contract states otherwise.

So for that reason, I prefer being hourly paid. What about you?

Same here I always preferred to be paid hourly so then I can feel safe with my daily money, so I know that I get paid everyday and then I can immediately use that money and not wait until the end of the month which can be exhausting.
And then as you say the owners cannot ask you for extra hours which are a waste of time for you because you get paid on every literal hour, so I agree with you it is much better and I would definitely rather work under am hourly paying company.

In my opinion, hourly pay is better than money pay, but if your salary is six-figure then that is a different case. I worked in a playschool and my salary was Rs 5000 i.e, approx 74 dollars/ month. If I can make even $100-150/ month working online I would prefer that.

I would prefer any job or business that will pay me on a monthly basis. When I'm being paid salary I will know how to budget my money and know how to spend my money wisely. When are being paid hourly my budget would eventually have lapses because I might spend on frivolities.

I would prefer to be paid a salary, probably because it's what I got used to and have already learnt how to plan my expenses around a fixed schedule.

My partner though prefers being paid per hour. He is still running his own business and has already been exposed to getting paid daily, in random amounts. This, he knows how to manage any amount he gets accordingly.

For my prefer to be pay salary hourly so that I can feel happy to use it solve problem, because having money at hand everyday is very good, but I didn't say that monthly salary is not good.

Salary is better for me but I can understand why some people prefer hourly. Most salary jobs tend to come with a more trusted and clear appreciation for their employee whereas hourly work just seems replaceable.

Depending on the exact company or organisation you are working for and it also depend on the country , in some country getting paid hourly pays because they are paying good , but here in my country becuase the salary scheme is bad and if you get your payment hourly , you won't be able to save and that's why i prefer getting my salary monthly.

For me I can work in for any as long as I gety money. Also I would choose the one that has the best working condition but for me they are all fine. But usually formal jobs pay through salaries. Only informal jobs pay hourly according to what I see in my country. Those who are paid hourly don't have a stable job. Sometimes they have work to do and somey they don't.

In order for the money to accumulate , I prefer monthly payment , though daily payment is also good but its better for the people who can save money and for the workers wheo earn big.

I believe being paid hourly helps one to place value on time. I get paid weekly and I know the psychological effect it's had on me compared to when I was getting paid monthly.

Now I focus more on how to use my time wisely. Whenever I'm not in the mood to work I remind myself of the amount of money I stand to lose for every wasted hour.

As far as I'm concerned hourly pay is way better than monthly or yearly pay.

Since I'm more of active worker than passive, and stay on working for hours before calling it a day, I'll prefer the hourly pay definitely. I believe when I devote more time in the day I'll earn more definitely.

A salary is going to be far better than anything else, because you are going to try that as much as possible to ensure that you have a high sense of discipline as it is not coming on a daily basis.

I prefer to get paid for work that I have done per hour because this is money that I can use it to invest in other businesses that I may be into. It is far better than waiting for end of month.

I prefer hourly pay over monthly pay. But, if one can make a higher income with a monthly fixed price then I think that's much better than the hourly paid job.

Hourly payments would have been the best way , but here you may not likely have any business organisation that will pay you hourly. Every government workers and private organisations workers are being paid monthly.

I heard hourly payment is the best way to earn money if you are working in th foreign country but here in my country , workers are being paid peanut salary monthly , so getting paid hourly here is like getting your transport fare back.

I really prefer hourly pay so that I know that my money is safe, and also to use it for my daily payment because working here online I really like to receive my payment hourly if it will be possible.

As for me I prefer an hourly paid job, because I will have time for other curricular activities but we missed this in my country.

To me personally i would prefer the opton of hourly pay, because it will only meant that i am doing what i have been assign to do and after that i get paid without having to stay extra hour on the job doing nothing.

In my opinion a monthly salary is preferable to being paid for an hour of work but I can comprehend why some individuals favour the latter. With that being said, it is important to note that most salaried jobs come with a greater respect and admiration for their employees, whereas hourly workers simply appear dispensable to the organization

Yeah, I agree with your point.
The truth is, if it is based on an hourly basis it means that you may have to put in more work and spend more time before attaining a target.

In addition, I believe that a monthly salary is advantageous because it allows you to plan your budget much more easily over a longer period as compared to receiving remuneration over an hour

The whole wage issue is largely dependent on the individual that is involved, some persons would like to go for an hourly pay and be able to plan and save from that arrangement, then some it is on a monthly basis that would suit them.

I think most of us here will prefer being paid hourly, no body wants a long time payment, that's why I don't want to work for the government, most of this government workers are being paid on a monthly basis.

Although I like hourly pay, I can see why some individuals prefer salary.
Hourly labor just seems to lack the trust and transparency that most wage jobs prefer to have for their employees.

Taking your payment per hour in my own opinion is not advisable because you will be paid peanuts , so i prefer getting paid for my work at the end of the month when the money would have accumulated .

However, I can see why some people might prefer hourly pay. For me, salary is better. While hourly employment just seems disposable, most salaried professions tend to have a clearer understanding of their value to their employees.

Depending on the amount of money you are earning in the organisation youbare working with , i prefer getting my money once a month no matter how much the money might be.

Me too, I also prefer hourly paid over monthly paid, as you can most of the freelancing websites are also paying in hourly rates because most freelancers don't have long term contract with them so they need to be paid in hourly rates.

I can work anywhere if they are treating me well and giving me less burden of work I don't bother to take the salary on monthly basis. But they are opposite then I would like to prefer hourly pay.

I think that there is nothing wrong with getting paid hourly. In fact, getting paid each hour is actually fair for a labour or worker. When it comes to monthly payments, labours or workers could get overloaded with a lots of work.

I get your point, and of course, being paid hourly should not be a problem in the slightest. I guess it depends on how financially sound the individual is and their spending habits.

I would prefer being paid on hourly basis. This is because it helps me to get the right kind of amount I deserve. However, there is no such system of making money hourly in my country when it comes to jobs.

I'll prefer hourly pay - that will be a true reflection of my working hours. There are times you'll have to put in extra hours of work and because you're paid at the end of the month, you can't get those benefits.

Most freelancers are actually paid hourly and if you calculate it you will find out that at the end of the month their pay is far greater than regular salary earners. I personally will prefer the hourly payment.

Hourly paid is far better to me than the salary paid because when you’re paid hourly, the chance of having some amount of cash on you is easy than to wait till you get your salary being paid.

I think the common notion that several members of the public possess is that jobs that remunerate you hourly are odd jobs as compared to the jobs that pay a monthly salary. Maybe this plays a desire in these organizations reluctance to toe the more conventional line and offer hourly pay

Since its very common here in my country to ve getting paid at the end of each month, normally people prefer getting psid monthly so the money will accumulate into something better .

Both hourly pay and salary have their advantages and disadvantages. The best option for you depends on your specific circumstances. For example, I prefer the stability and predictability of a salary. Others may value the flexibility and potential for earning more money through overtime pay that hourly pay offers. It's important to weigh the pros and cons of each type of compensation before making a decision. It would be efficient to compare your income from both cases with your monthly expenses.

Yes, I think that both of therm could be good and both of them have their own bad sides as well. Hourly pay helps you to manage your expenses in case if you are getting cash at hand at the same time.

Getting your money on hourly or daily paid after working should have been the best most especially if the company is paying good amount of money , but if its peanut , then its better to take it monthly after it has been accumulated ,

Over here in my country Nigeria nobody gets paid by the hour and even if there are some people that are paid by the hour, it is only going to be a few people which is why most companies your pay people salary on monthly basis but I will definitely prefer to get paid by the hour.

I think a lot of people need to understand that salary earning is better and far better than how hourly earning because you can spend your money at any time when you make money hourly

That's true, but for me I'll like to get paid the moment I'm done with what I'm doing, i don't like situations we're my payment is being delayed, I don't just like it

I believe that I am capable of saving my money so there is no need to keep my money till the end of the month. I prefer to get it every hour or every week. I like it that way

I prefer a salary to a hourly pay. Of the truth, being paid once in a month or a year gives undue advantage to the employer who may be giving you too much work to do, even outside the agreed time, but the benefit of receiving a salary outnumbered it's demerit. With salary it'll be easy for you to save your money than when you're beinh paid hourly. For someone like me who don't know how to save, hourly pay is definitely not for me.

That's exactly what I'm saying,I also like to get paid when I'm done with my work, I think a lot of people are going to love this, hourly will be a good idea than monthly.

In my country, we don't have hourly paid work and it has led to massive exploitation of staff by employees. Hourly payments allow you to control the pace of your work based on your earning goals.

This will only be good for people who can control their spendings but people who cannot control it should just go for monthly salary which will be better

Instead of hourly or weekly/monthly salary, I would like to get task based payment. For instance, if I am hired to build a website, I would like to get paid for what I am doing.

I believe we all like to get paid on time, I think getting paid at the end of every single day is awesome, a lot of people are doing that, but you need to have a high level of skills set.
