Paid time off or paid vacation?

Which does your business support? Or which one do you as an employee usually get? Either it's paid time off, or paid vacation time. I think both differ in some ways, while paid time off is usually when you need to take a day or two off for an emergency or if you're sick, but you still get paid. A paid vacation is essentially you getting a few days to a week or more off, but you're still getting paid your usual hours.

Which do you prefer to do? I don't take many vacations, so paid time off would be good for me. I could do a few days off from time to time. What about you though?

I have never received a paid time off or paid vacation when I had a regular job but if I had that opportunity, I would certainly choose paid vacation. It would save me money that I would normally spend on a vacation.
