Government job versus private job?

Today in our reality , one can either work in the public sector (Government) , private area or fabricate his own business .

Aside from being a business person , will you want to work for government sector where you would be qualified for tip upon retirement and annuity thereafter or to work for the private sector where you will get paid better however will just have gratuity yet much of the time no pension ?

Likewise government occupations offer the chance of acknowledgment in government position not at all like private positions .

I actually have time working in a government institution. I have the advantage of working part time and I can spend the other part time in a private company or dedicate myself to working online. But in general, if I did not work there, I would think about it since having a good administration I could dedicate myself to work in a private company and save to have my own business for my retirement, but only with good administration. I have seen countless people who dedicated their lives to private companies and have nothing for their mismanagement during their years of service.

I am already working in Government sector and I always prefer to work in Government sector. In Government sector you have more security, facilities and allowances than private sector. Private sector take much work from their employees and pay less.

There are many advantages attached to doing a government job . But in spite of this many people do not like to pursue a public career due to lack of opportunities and want to shift to private sector without having to wait for longer period.

Most private jobs are too demanding with little pay, they exhaust their employees with plentiful targets unlike government works, government works gives enough room to do other things and the pay is constant as compared to private works which might be fluctuating

In my country government job is much better than private job.Govermnet jobs hours are well defined along with lots of health and property benefits. One should prefer government job as its pension able.i dont know what about rest of the country but in our country government job is a dream job for yougster

To me Government jobs are more reliable to a private job. In government jobs, workers are hansomely paid compared to privates. Also government jobs gives workers advantage of receiving pensions after retirement while private jobs doesn't.

Salary. ... Government sector may provide less salary compared to the private sector, but they have better benefits. Increments for government jobs are standardized, whereas the private sector jobs are pretty much annual or in some companies half-yearly too.

I think government jobs have many benefits and in some case, they pay more. I thought of working in public service once and still planning to take an exam for it because it has many opportunities but it won't be for good. Governmentjob is better in sence that there is less risk od losing job at any time.other way there is less restrictions in duty government salary packages are also less as compared to private but government job provides alot more benefits to workers.

I think I'd prefer working in the government sector because there isn't a tight lease on staffs and in turn you can focus on other ventures . Private sectors are quite unpredictable and are very strict ,but they pay better . I'd still pick the government sector over the private sector.

Damn government work, if the private one pays higher than the public sector job. I'll go full-time on the private job own. Because I'm the kind that saves a lot than spending carelessly. I will invest some too, knowing too well, that after retirement, nothing like pension for me. But in some private sectors, they do pay off workers with huge some of money. In our country here, at least it will take a retiree 24 months to get his pension on a payroll. In some cases it stays longer than 5 years, and some never get to receive their pension. That's our bad government for you, that's why I won't depend on them for progress.

Hello, I would work in the private sector because there is a better target when it comes to establishing connections and there is better pay in a better furniture environment, I can also pay the tax for when the time comes that I want to stop working, get the benefit of the pension

If you are referring to Nigeria public sector, it doesn't take long to enroll government retirees into pension it almost immediately but it could take a very long time to get their entitlement benefits, this has made people to choose highly paid private jobs than government because of inconsistency.

Considering the benefits from government work such as gratuity and pension , I will definitely go for government work . Secondly , there is less strict condition in government work as compared to private work .
