Employee shortages?

Has anyone else experienced this either as a business owner or just a general shopper?

A few chain stores in my area have only been open maybe 3 days a week because they don't have enough staff to run them daily. I have a feeling a lot of these places are going to close down. Other places seem to be hiring people who can't do their jobs with is resulting in poor service.

I haven't noticed anything like that in my location. I think it depends on the unemployment rate in that particular region. Most people over here are in dire needs of jobs.

This is true because a lot of people prefer to chase jobs that is going to pay their bills. I believe that the company should do an evaluation about if that location is suitable.

I am sure some areas are worse than others. A lot of people in the US are out of work and refusing to work. We have abundant options for jobs yet so many places can't keep their businesses staffed.

Though when it comes to the running of business and doing it effectivelly you need to have some structure on ground and finance is one of them,so at the initial period of the business it is not unusual to find some lapses in the operation,but after some time management will look into the issues and resolve them.

I guess that many companies faced a shortage of employee after the pandemic ended. This is because when the pandemic was over, companies needed the staff they lost during the pandemic.

I know a lot of people quick working because they either didn't want the vaccines or they couldn't get them for health reasons.

I am sure this factored in but at this point, I have to wonder how they are doing things to get by. How are they buying food, paying rent, etc.?

Shortages of staff happens very rarely. In my country, it is even unheard of. There are thousands of unemployed people who will always be ready to fill in one role or the other across many sectors.

sometimes it could be as a result of persons not having the requsite skill and competence to do a particular job,that is what is called unemployable population,and this has been a source of worry to most employers.

There are times when the manager of the business prefers managing the employee when he already knows that he or she needed to employ more workers , but decided not to due to the fact that hes managing the resources .

I think one of the major reasons some people do not work in that company is because of their bad experiences or the pay. If people are paid small amount of money they will not be motivated to work effectively.

I think it's your location because in my location, i've haven't noticed anything of that such. What I've noticed in my location is the high rate of unemployment due to the fact that there are hardly any available jobs. The best option is self employment.

Here in my country , there's never any employee shortage or shortage of staffs , rather the level of unemployment and job scarcity is always increasing daily here in my country.

I'm my country, it seems there are some industries or let me say, specialised industries that need special skills do not have enough employees . This is because most of the employees are not treated very well and they've traveled abroad . Example is the medical field , throngd of list of medical consultants have fled abroad for a greener pastures.

The shortage of employee is often caused by bad working condition. Most of the companies do not consider the working condition of the workers and it will make you so many to stop working.
