Graphics capture attention, I guess that is why clad and above 18 site are the most visited sites, lol. But seriously, adding a picture especially a good one with graphics tend to attract people.

Yes graphics do capture our tension then paint texts. Having a photo along with your post or advertisement is easy for people to get attracted. And if that is an animation, that even works better.

Most certainly graphics makes a message to look more interesting and more attractive. It helps a message to give the right expression. And makes a message much more meaningful and nice.sometimes graphics alone can speak for itself.

If I see an article that does not have a picture attached to it chances are that I will not be tempted to open the article because as far as I am concerned the pictures makes the article attractive and it gives me a mental image to hold onto which will drive me to work clicking and reading the article.

It depends on where you are posting it to. I don't see any site that mandates posting pictures. Pictures are attractive but the catchy headline is more convincing.

Of course it's a general knowledge that I didn't picture to an article would make the article to become more attractive for people to comment on because that feature will enable most people to have a mental image of what they want to comment on.

If picture is offensive then a small description could suffise like for example a picture for result traffic accident or two car accident then a small description without label a photo can be good.
