Biggest loss you ever had?

Running a business is always with the desire to make profit. This means that every business owner aims to make more profit. However, how about your biggest loss as a business owner? Can you remember?

A while back I had gotten a deal for some work, it would have been for some decent money. But right as I was to start, they cancelled the order on me. I was bummed out, but moved on. I learned to never get my hopes up right away like that.

I once burrowed 2 million in local currency (about $20 thousand) to start a dairy business. My business failed and I could not pay the loan. I had to sell my assets to pay the loan. The loan has still not been paid off. THis is the biggest loss I have encountered.

It is quite funny in my case, biggest loss for me wasn't even in my reality but in the internet space. I loss a painful couple of bucks to a casino site just because of my ignorance. I wasn't aware then that f**k**g sh*t was programmed to 97% make user loose .

it wasn't much though but was painful. I prefer losing thousand of bucks in a worthful way than losing a cent in an unexplainable manner.

My biggest loss is the loss of business because due to economic conditions and competition I simply could not continue and it all ended with me having to close such a small business in which I invested 10 thousand dollars in addition to my time.
