Are emotions attached to family-owned businesses?

There are so many people who like to run a family-owned business. This is because they like their family members to prosper. However, by the passage of time, many people may develop emotions related to family-owned business. So, is this really the case?

Yes, blood is thicker than water. It's expected to spur emotions of those involved in a family business towards one another. In a family business, when a family member isn't performing up to standard, they hardly do anything to the person. They will not sack or demote the family member.

Currently, I am not involved with my family business, however, I am attached to my family business that is being managed by my parents. WE have been farmers for many generations and my parents are involvedwith family business. I am so attached with this business that I frequently help my parents with investment.

I have never seen any kind of business that doesn't have its own ups and down. It is all about how the management of the business is structured when it comes to handling things the way they are supposed to be handled in order to make sure that the ups and downs of the business does not result in the complete failure of the business.
