If your properties are more than 2 then that you means you are wealthy so it is not good to waste your time in managing your properties unless that is your choice of occupation. You can enjoy life by traveling maybe or by spending time with your hobbies. But if you are not rich then I guess you have to manage the properties yourself.If these said properties are many in number, I think I might have to engage the services of a very reputable body to manage it for me than managing it myself more so if I have not got the experience well enough yet

Very true point there. Properties don't come cheap. I agree with you. I'll like to manage the property myself except I am indisposed or out of that location, then I'll have to get someone else to manage the property.If I have the opportunity to build my own house I will prefer to handle the agent service myself since I have the knowledge of running the business, I will rather do it myself rather than employing the service of a manager.
