Would you rather be a popular influencer or a popular politician?

If you were given the choice, would you rather be a popular influencer or a popular politician, what choice would you make? I think politicians make change, but not always. I feel like influencers are becoming more popular than ever and if anything we'll start to see more influencers becoming politicians later in life. Which would you rather be? I think I'd rather be an influencer, because I don't want to be a politician. They are often too corrupt.

I have no interest in being a popular politician. However, that wasn't always the case. I have thought in more recent times about being the mayor of New York City or running for some high-level state office in Tennessee, my home state. Anyway, though, these are just fleeting dreams, and my main interest has always been getting big on the internet - because I am a very experienced web developer.
