The cost of unemployment is insufficient schooling and a lack of competitiveness. With decreasing educational levels, wages rise progressively; and the teacher education does not generate skills for the labor market. The availability of labor is influenced by the rise in the number of job seekers over the years.

Even the few government intervention in N-power, N-Agric and all that, many just sign up to collect the monthly 30k without any interest in the skill acquisition intended by the government. All the youths want is just free cash as if that is their right and not work

I still don't understand why youths I the country still have the mentality of expecting too much from other people. So if the government refuse to help would you still wait for the government, would you wait for them for your daily expenditures?

Poverty is high that is why unemployment is at high side. The rate at which the unemployment in our country is on high side as a result of deliberate effort by the ppl in the government to perpetually put citizens on abject poverty. Last year our country was tagged as poverty capital of the world therefore the government need to do a decisive work to arrest the tide of poverty vin our which subsequently lead to massive unemployment. There is no way it won't be like that. the youths of nowadays have all picked interest in looking for a white collar job whereas there are none. this is the time for everyone to try as much as possible to establish one or two things. being a job creator and not a job seeker goes a long way in helping one's country so much.
