Which is more profitable to invest ,gold or cryptocurrency ?

My opinion on this is that cryptourrency has seen a spike in value in the past few days and months especially Bitcoin, although it comes with it bad sides it's more a fast investment depending on the crpyto than a steady and safe one, gold on the other hand is stable and free from market volatility. Therefore bitcoin poses more risk

To me, I actually don't know much about gold business but i bhave the fundamental idea about the business. But when talking about crytocurrency business, it's very very profitable and lucrative. Last July 2020, 1 bitcoin was traded at 4 million naira but as of today 1 bitcoin is now 15 million naira. Can you see the profit margin?
