What cause a person to take a second job?

I believe there are several reasons that may caused someone to takes a second job. either as a result of poor conditions of service of which is very rampant. or because he is not specialised in the department he is operating.

Imagine working in an office you resume by 8am and close by 6pm, you definitely wouldn't be looking for a second job, but if you run a part-time job, then a second job would be an option.
