What cause a person to take a second job?

You would know how comfortable someone is with their single job for them to be willing to rule out taking on a second job today with all that's happening inflation. Most jobs now will never pay you what's going to be enough to keep up with the increasing cost on every products. People now work on 2 or 3 jobs.

There's a lot of factors, from the likes of; medical emergencies, lower pay, having children, buying a house, having a certain lifestyle and more. I think the big factors for me are the emergencies that come up. Sometimes you don't know what's going to happen. One day things could be going good, and then all of a sudden something happens and I have to regroup and maybe take additional work or something.

The primary reason why a person takes on a second job is due to the fact that a person may not be able to survive if a person does not take a second job. His main job may not be sufficient enough. However, despite this, there are many people who opt for a second job because they may be interested in that particular job.

People don't take on several jobs to work more hours for fun. They are in dire need to make more money. This is the only reason I know people work more than they are supposed to. It may be to improve their work portfolio but the money is always part of the decision behind it.

The more I got older, is the more I have more responsibilities to take care of. I can only be able to take care of them with getting better payment and in in fact more money. This is what justifies the need to work on more jobs. This is why I would come back home from my office worker to start working online and next to my farm.
