Too early for Christmas Music?

When is it considered too early to play Christmas music? Would you consider November too early? Or a month before to be okay?

November is the usual time they start blasting the Christmas music. November is the start of the holidays, from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Here in the US, Thanksgiving is like a tease to what's to come with Christmas. But I get why people can't stand it.

I think November is too early, I guess the month of December can already be directly associated with Christmas as it is the most important event of that month, so that's a good date to start playing Christmas music in my opinion
