I believe online wallets are better. This is because online wallets are easier to use than other types of wallets. You can access them from a browser on any device as long as you can remember your username and password. And they have plenty of good features such as quickly buying, selling, and trading cryptocurrencies. I hope this clarifies things.

Actually cryptocurrencies wallet is something that is online and making it to be in your phone or PC is your choice, just that most people like it to be in there phone so that the can access it anytime.

If you want to store large amount of money it is better you use a hardware wallet because it is not connected to the internet and therefore cannot be hacked. It is very risky for you to use online wallet to store large amount of cryptocurrency because anything can happen and it will be stolen.

I'm still a bit new to cryptocurrency and was curious about wallets. When it comes to using one, should it be a wallet on your own PC? Or would it be best to have a wallet within the cloud? Or maybe I'm confusing how this all works? Can you explain if so?

The reason I ask, is because I got a wallet for Dogecoin, as I was going to invest, but did not end up doing so. They had me download and install their dogecoin wallet. So that's why I made this topic. Just want to see if I'm right or way wrong. lol :D
As for me I will prefer a hardware wallet(I.e the one called PC wallet),because this cloud wallet is not only controlled or access by you alone.

The cryptocurrency wallet is safe online provided that you are keeping your funds with trusted cryptocurrency exchange or blockchain but when you keep your wallet on your PC, if it crash, there wouldn't be any solution.

Well it all depends on how you want to save your coin.. there are people who safe theirs online and there are people who save theirs on their pc.. but I would prefer saving mine in a hardwire
One thing that i have discovered in the saving of crypto,is that there are certain amount that you can just decide to allow in you online wallet, but when it gets to a certain amount,it is advisable to save it offline.

You can keep your cryptocurrency wallet on your personal computer but you should ensure that the private case is still somewhere offline. You can buy a ledger if you think you need it.

I think ideally it's best if you have it on both. There is nothing wrong with having your wallet on both your PC and your phone because the phone could get spoilt or go missing and you would have a back-up wallet on your computer

Definitely there are ways you can save your cryptocurrency assets, you can save it online or offline, but it is always safer to put your assets in cold wallet if the amount has reached a very huge amount.

If you are looking for ultimate security then you should be looking at ledger. This means nobody can be able to withdraw your cryptocurrency without having the physical tech.

Online wallets are more practical for carrying out transactions and payments, but they also present more security dangers. On the other hand, computer-based wallets are more protected but may be more challenging to use for regular transactions. In the end, it is up to you to choose the type of wallet that best suits your requirements and situation.

Whether it is online or on your personal computer there is no one that you cannot make use of. As long as you keep your details confidential there's nothing that will happen to either of your wallets.
