Government support is necessary in rice cultivation because rice farming is capital intensive and also risky, rice farming can easily be affected by flooding especially if done close to flood prone area, government also have to provide credit loan facilities to farmers as a means of motivation.

In our country the government is extending support to the rice farmers. The harvest is bought at a higher price than in the market so that the farmers can earn moire. There is also subsidy in the planting materials which gives the farmer double benefit.Now the farmer can earn almost double of what he usually earns. If you own the land then your earnings can leave you something for your savings even if you have 4 children in the family.

Rice harvesting in every Country is very high because its demand is also high because people eat it in very high mounts and fondly because its export is also high and therefore its harvesting is more and we can get a lot of profit from this.

Rice farming is profitable business, when is coming to farming,because there are alot of demand for it, the farmer need the help of government by providing it term of money and equipment that they can use to meet up with the standard, and produce a stone free rice, farming is a locative business but government need to support the farmer and help to buy their products.

I do not seem to understand what you mean by government support. Any way it is not advisable to depend on your state or federal government to come support your rice farm, for you with their loans . Although if they offer to give loans to run your rice business, you should go ahead and accept.

Mind you when government gets involved in your rice business, most times they begin to give you certain order on how you should run your production.

Their further decisions might not favour you and might reduce your rate of profit you were might to gain from your farm.

Though it’s capital intensive and requires mechanism which is why the government will of great impact provided they provide support for the farmers.
