Renting or leasing, which is the best option for a house owner?

The two has a same purpose which is offering the houses to stay at for a certain time. But it has its own differences on the duration. If I plan to offer my house temporarily or only for a short term, I think the best option for me is to just rent. Leasing usually takes year and even more. And I wouldn't know for sure when I'm going to need the house in a few years, so I prefer rent.
Both of them are good depending on what day when out of the house for landlord wants most people may prefer to leave their building while others were afraid to rent it out.

Such practices is common in my country. Both renting and leasing are similar, the only difference is that the period of usage by the tenants is what differs. Leasing takes a longer period of time while rents is usually on a monthly or yearly basis. Leasing could take up to 25yrs

Seriously, no matter what anyone else says, I will definitely choose rent over lease. When I'm looking at the amount of money that comes from rent, it's way bother.

Most times people prefer to lease their houses than to rent houses but for me I will say listen is more better because you get your money bock.

Renting is much better for house owners. Renting is mostly done for properties or lands. In leasing, the servicing and maintenance are done by the lessee when s/he takes the equipment on lease. read more. In renting, on the other hand, the servicing and maintenance are done by the landlord even if the tenant takes the property on rent.

The plan option avialable to a property owner is solely dependent on the package that would suit the owner.some time the property owner would be needing a huge amount of money to carry out a project of pressing needs,he would decide to go for lease whhich takes longer period.

Yes, when you say lease that is for a long term rent like a year at least. The term lease is commonly used in land and big properties like a building or a resort. But for small real estate like a house or apartment it is the rent that is used. The monthly rent is the most common for the tenant.

For a house owner that wants to be collecting some money on their property without selling it, there are two options for him, which are renting it out and collecting a rent on monthly or yearly payment basis.
The second option is leasing out the property which is giving out the property for some period of time like 5,6 or more years depending on the agreement entered between the owner of the property and the person that wants to lease it.
These two options are great way to earn money on a property but which is the option for a house owner?
As a house owner, first I have to think of how much do I really need. If you have a big financial need, you choose the leasing of property for years.

If you only need small amount for your projects, then you can have the monthly payment option.

As for me I have come to realise that the best way to maximize revenue or income for yourself as it concerns your house is by leasing it out four years as this amount that is a make on the lease is always very big compared to what you can gain by renting out your house.

They are both very good ways to make money from your house. I would personally prefer renting because your money will be paid on yearly basis.

Depending on the price he or she attaches to the property, the two is ok. Personally I will go for renting monthly or yearly because I might have other plans.

Some landlords even build some apartments for renting and leasing at same time. That's another means of earning money via commercial apartments.

Leasing is a long term lease but it is usually for commercial spaces where tenants would lease a store space for 1 year or more. With houses it is usually a monthly rental although there is also a rent contract of at least 6 months. When we were renting a house our first contract was for 1 year and the renewal was also for one year. The renewal usually involves and increase in rent. With the long term lease it is immune to increase but the lease is paid in advance. If the lease is 2 years then the tenant has to pay 2 years of rent before moving in.
Wow very nice explanation between renting a house and leasing a property. I believe you got a right and very clear answer to this question. It really depends on the property. If it is a house then renting is the proper and applicable situation. If it is a commercial space, then leasing is the proper thing to do.

The best option for a house owner in this case is to rent out the building and not to lease it. I said this because of the fact that leasing a building for a long period can have adverse effects in the long run

Renting and leasing are the same think but with different taste , to me I prefer renting out over leasing because I keep seeing my money every month or yearly to invest or cater for my needs other than waiting for another six years to get my money

I prefer renting out an apartment than leasing. I would want to have access to money on a yearly basis and not on an interval of 3years and beyond.

Lease is usually for commercial buildings while rent is for homes. But as a house owner I will like yearly rent than collect 5 years rent at once.

Rent is for short term passive income while leasing is for the long-term passive income. I prefer rent because it helps you to pay back the mortgage faster than leasing.

Both renting and leasing are profitable ventures for a home owner. Leasing is for a long amount of time, and for a house owner in need of cash, renting is a fantastic idea because you will be collecting payment on a yearly basis, whereas leasing will be once every three years or more.

The way tenants are behaving these days when it comes to paying rent is very disturbing. I prefer even leasing out a house. The leased has to make all the necessary payment before claiming the property for the leased period.
